Anita Barnes Azzarelli, 59 of Alma, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2015 in her home. She was born September 19, 1956. She was a longtime employee for Walmart in Alma. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Helene (Schweiger) Barnes; and one daughter, Cerise Azzarelli.

Anita is survived by her husband, Johnny Azzarelli, whom she met at General H. H. Arnold High School in Wiesbaden, Germany. Both were active in the local teen choir group called the Revelation Generation. Anita is also survived by three brothers, Barney Barnes of Odessa, TX, Dell Barnes of Tahlequah, OK, and Clifford Barnes of Pryor, OK; one sister, Christine Storm; four nieces and one nephew.

Arrangements and cremation under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren, AR. No formal serivce will be held at this time.
